I've been teaching Kurdish for many years now, and it's something I'm truly passionate about. I'm originally from Erzurum, Turkey, and over time, I’ve focused on developing my skills in Kurmanji Kurdish.

This beginner’s Kurdish course, created for English speakers, is organized into 10 modules with more than 6 hours of content.
You’ll start from the very basics—learning the Kurdish alphabet, pronunciation, and essential phrases—then progress into grammar, verb tenses, and sentence building. Step by step, you’ll also expand your vocabulary for everyday life, travel, family, and cultural contexts, while gaining the confidence to hold real conversations.
With clear explanations in English and a gradual increase in difficulty, the course is designed to be accessible and engaging for complete beginners who want to build a strong foundation in Kurdish language and culture.

GRAMMAR & SENTENCE CONSTRUCTION
Form sentences with “there is/are,” “I have/you have,” and “am/is/are,” including negatives. Practice present and past tense verbs and key grammar points like prepositions, adjectives, and comparative forms for clear communication.

This video shows what the courses, videos and additional materials look like.
The course is divided into several sections, containing the more than 50 video lessons and exercises. I recommend watching the sessions in order, as the courses offer a sequential and logical learning path.
Remember that you can always go back and watch the lessons as often as needed.
All videos are in FULL HD and you can adjust the speed, audio and quality.
In all my videos, I try to use as many visual elements as possible, such as pictures, tables, and graphs. At the same time, you can also see me talking directly to you, making the lessons as engaging and entertaining as possible.
